Or Ford GT even - he can't even fit into a GT40!

Read the article on Sunday and it raised a smile for me too, after all that waiting and prices increases :P

Wonder what he'll get next?

The day Clarkson buys a Skoda is the day I'm 6 feet under

Or he has more money than us and can afford to buy a better car ;)

Chris

I thought that was a pretty sad read... Poor bugger.

Ah well he's

He reviewed the new Ferrari (sorry, can't remember model number) and said it was the car he should have bought!

Thing is if he had of kept the car for a few years it would of been worth more IMHO.

It's a f**kin' Ford. They always bust up. Used to have a taurus...in 3 months, changed 3 gearboxes. I'm personally glad he sold it, it would have been a waste of his time.

I really feel sorry for Clarkson, only because I've been in a similar situtation.

I think he should keep the DB9.

So if I read that correctly the alarm is kaput but the car is amazing  .Hmmmm...he wants that new ferrari real bad :)

He had a Ferrari 355 for ages but never drive it because its alarm kept running the battery down in the garage. The creaking GTS roof annoyed the helll out of him too.

I reckon He'll get a DB9.

F430 is the new Fezza he was raving about recently i think. apparently one of the best cars ferrari have made in a long time.

honstly....if that was me and loved the car that much...id of taken it down my local clifford dealer and got them to rip out the old **** ford alarm and pop in a decent one... i know its the princepal of it all but....i ask this did he send it back to the local ford dealer? as if there going to know what to do with the GT!!

Can just imagine the grease monkeys at the local dealer taking it for a test drive just to make sure it runs right, guv ;) No he took it back to the specialist agents for the car in the country which is why he was so annoyed. If I'd spent that sort of money on a car, I'd get Ford to pay to have it removed and a Clifford fitted too! What's

 Omg Ford gave him his money back

I've never heard of a car company doing that when a car is for ever bracking down

I guess they were considering Clarkson's ability to completely abuse Ford at every opportunity. After all he does a great job of telling people howbad Mecedes customer services are.

well it's uk law. He's rightly regected the car after they have had a few chances to fix the faults with it. Ford did not have much of a leg to stand on and given that it was a

Roush (who are servicing the GT's) are a Ford tuning company & probably don't know anything to do with the alarm/immobiliser.

Did you read the article?

One thing: I know I could sell the car privately and make a

He says in this months Top Gear (Out Yesterday) that he thought in 200 years time, using materials that hadn't even been invented yet, someone would build a better car than the Ferrari F430.

Then only four weeks later the BMW M5 manages it. And he thinks it will be his next car.
