wheel fitment help...

Featured Replies

Found a set of wheels for my mk2 vrs however just concerned that at 19x8.5 et35 and 19x9.5 et38 im gunna run issues... They sit perfect on a mk5 or a passat just worried about octavia fitment?

The 9.5 ET 38 will run close of lowered. Stretched tyres are a must.

225 35 19s on em?

225 on the 8.5 and 235 on the 9.5 and 35 profile.

It will be an awful ride but look nice ;)

9,5x19" et38 won´t fit on the rear with 235/35R19 tyres. I had 9,5x19" et45 with 235/35R19 and even they rubbed on heavy load on the fender. My car is lowered with H&R coilovers with 1cm thread left to go down in the rear. 225/35R19 stretches quite much on the rim: http://tyrestretch.com/archive-4/gallery/image/9-5_225_35_r19_hankook/

If your car is on standard ride height they may fit but when loaded, they will rub the paint off from the arches on speed bumps etc.

There is the possibility to adjust the camber to the max and get them running without rubbing but that will destroy the inner side of the tyres very quicly.
