Skoda fabia Ac problem.

Featured Replies

Hi.

I own a Skoda Fabia 2010 1.4 TDi (Diesel). Last month my AC stopped working. Only warm fan air is coming out of the blower on dash board. The compressor is not switching on along with the fan. I went to the nearest Ac mechanic and he told me that the Ac relay was not working. I need to know the model number of that product.Any links to buy the product will be helpful too. Here in India, showroom service centre is charging around 720 euros for complete replacement of compressor. I don't think i can pay that in a month for AC since i have recently started to work as an engineer. Any help in any form will be appreciated. Thanks!

Got it repaired. The compressor's expansion valve was burned out. Got a new one and used it in the old compressor. Works like magic!

We are glad that it is fixed and your air con is working now.

Do you have the part number for this part so, if any of us have the same problem, we may need this replacing. thank you

I didn't need any new additional part as the mechanic used the old one. He cleaned the old rusty expansion valve in the compressor. Mine was almost stuck to the compressor. He then used new oil to fill the compressor. It took me 5k rupees to fix the problem. Hope this helps.
