Hi all, just new to this site & I'm looking for some help/advice. Just bought a vrs est on sat & on way home exhaust control system light came on with glow plugs light flickering on. Took it to Scotland yesterday 200 mile trip with light on then this morning when I got into drive the light was off!! Anyone had this prob? Should or can I get a diagnostic if lights off. The non-franchise dealer is of no use (hav been from the first point of sale & only got a sale coz i wanted this car) Said they'd look at it for us but as lights now out can they find fault? It's sat on a forecourt for a few months. Any advice would be appreciated, thnx V

The fault code should be saved in the ECU still
