i went to get two new tyres today on the back and the garage took spacers of said wheel wouldnt sit right so dont no what to do the alloys am running 17'' spiders from octavia and also there was biggot ring inside both alloys needs spacers back on as looks better anyone had same problems

Don't sit right as in the spacers are not hubcentric?

If the spacers are 57.1 then I'm guessing the spiders are 57.1 too as are most/all VAG. so you'll probably need to take the spigot rings off the wheels?

Yeah agree will need spigot rings off to go on without spacers anyway as the centre is 57.1 as stated above. To be honest if the tyre place can't work that out I'd go elsewhere as they sound useless or the tyre lad fancied the spacers for himself!
