any ideas what air filter would offer a good performance up.g on vrs octavia 06?

I am new to Skoda but I was a very active member of the Rover 75/MG ZT owner's group. I was recommended to fit a Mahle air filter and have always found them to give good performance, despite being a paper style filter. A quick google search should find you plenty of reviews showing they actually give better flow rates than oiled/foam filters. IIRC they are fitted oem by many of the German manufacturers.
