I would say it's exactly as you describe, i think the ride is slightly harder but it may seem that way because you feel the road more through the steering wheel. I wouldn't say there was too much difference handling/grip wise but it does feel better on a country lane with the lower profile

I know mine are Aurigas but it's nice to not back off on the bends [emoji16]

Yes, a slightly firmer ride with the lower profile tyres and more feel too.

 

Another bonus is that the Missus actually likes the new look as well.

As others have said - looks great with the green colour. Highly unusual too I'd have thought...
