Ordered a new Citigo Elegance today in Spring Green with Convenience, Safety, Style, Entertainment and Summer packs. 

 

It's going to be a long wait I think.

That's a pretty comprehensive set of options. Will be a very nice car indeed. What's that costing if you don't mind me asking? Must be £12K+?

Wasn't going to get the Style pack at first but did want the steel spare and then its only another £140 for the Auriga alloys. Did try to get them in black too at that price but salesman said only available on the Sport. 

 

Already got a list in my head for mods, wheel arch liners, USB charger (the one in the accessories catalogue), alloy pedals and MTEC bulbs.  I do like the replace fog lights with LED though from the other thread;

Great spec you chose and I am sure it will be worth the wait.

Maybe you will get news it will be sooner.

 6 MONTHS!?  id ask the dealer if they can change one of their orders in the build queue. so long as the build status of the order hasn't gone 'confirmed' they can change the spec! my wait for a factory order car will only be 5 weeks to build and hopefully 8 weeks to collection!

This lead time roulette is getting weird now even for factory orders,anything from a few weeks to a several months,I get the impression people who ordered their car a couple of weeks after me have the same build week as me.

I'm quite happy to wait, Anyhow some new options might come out that I could add!!

Got a phone call this afternoon from my dealer, my Citigo is being built week 47 and should be here before Christmas. 

 

 

 

 

Have to get my Christmas list made up I think. What shall I get first?

I got my Skoda dealer to price up the arch liner bits. Total of £75 but can't be ordered through Skoda as they don't do them for the Citigo(yet).

They are on back order with VW at the moment :( just the liners are I think.

Had about a 2 week wait for the liners when I ordered them for Dad's Citigo.  Our dealer does both VW and Skoda.

I must be very lucky - went to dealer two years ago after an Octavia; they had a new 1.8 tsi VAT free - bought it and collected next day. Went to same dealer two months ago after a Citigo; they had new red Sport (and none others) in the showroom offered at 0% - liked its look and bought it and collected three days later. I didn't want extra options and was happy with the colours. I would never wait one month let alone five! When I need a car I go to the shop and buy it! Don't others do that?!

Still waiting on my car (build week 48) but am making a goody list too!  Got most bits now but still need to order some MTEC DRL's, Osram Nighbreaker Plus and some Osram fogs if budget allows
