Bought a new car for x amount

Featured Replies

Ok so its come to a time now which i feel its time to move on from the fabia and get something different. I've bought myself a Leon Fr from pentagon. Agreed a monthly repayment of basically 300 a month. ive just been on the website to just double check something on my car and i came across a finance calculator at the bottom of the screen, with less deposit and less years on a PCP and it comes to less a month than what they quoted me as 'the best the can do' Ive already put a deposit down on the car and signed to say i want it.. Do i have a leg to stand on to ring up and be like hey what the hell? or would i be wasting my time?

Thanks in advance.

The calculator on site will prob be at their lowest (or typical) apr rate and yours may be more based on personal circumstances etc. I have never had a loan where it's been as cheap as the calculator on web site.

What made you go for the chair in the end? Any pics?

Just fancied a change and decided to go for something im going to want to stick with for the long haul! Ill get some of their site but i dont actually have it in the flesh as of yet.

Yeah i know what you mean, but the deposit in store i put down cash wise still comes up cheaper but i know what your saying. I said id prefer a PCP but i dont think thats what i've got which may be why such a difference in price.

Lovely looking car, give them a call. Nothing to lose, if you don't ask you don't get as they say! :)

Thank you, yeah i gave them a call earlier but hes not in so i just emailed him. Ive also realised since writing on the forum that ive only actually signed a order form and left a deposit and not even signed a finance agreement that i remember or even have a copy of!

As Fubar said, unless you have an immaculate credit rating and put down xx% deposit you'll never get the best rate.

Thanks for the replies, i must have an immaculate credit rating because they matched it to what was on the site lol. Tbf, i knew i had a good credit rating, because i buy things on my credit card, just to pay them off all the time to get it up. seems to be paying off lol!

Nice car

Have to watch out for you on the mean streets of Sheffield

If you see 60bhp of Tornado Red Citigo appear in your rear view mirror... get out the way lol

haha will do, i might stick the rods up though thinking its my girlfriend because shes got a little red rocket, although it is and Up and not not a citigo, because there is such a difference!

Haha, I'll be prepared to retaliate the 2 finger salute then
