Featured Replies

who has adjusted there dragon digital tunning box on there vrs? do all the tunning boxes come on the same setting? what have you found the best setting to adjust it to? took the end off my box to look at adjusting and all i can see is a circuit board? cant see anything that looks like anythin can be adjusted?? some advice and possible some pics of inside the box would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure about the vRS version

The Dragon box on my Octavia and the one on a workmates Megane both have adjusting screws and come supplied with a pot adjusting screwdriver.

I know other versions have adjustable jumper settings.

i can take some digi snaps later on! (thought of that after your pm)

my digi box is not connected to the car.... so easy as a b c!

If it's digital I'd have thought it would have a set of jumpers on it which could be changed...

the basic setting is jumper 1 and 3 (ON) -which is setting 11

Some digital boxes come with adjusting pots and others with Jumper settings. Depends on make of box and model of car.

Just keep going upwards until you get too much smoke on acceleration or until you get lumpy tickover then just go back one. :)

what ya mean by upwards? how do they move? sounds like a bit of a thick answer that really lol.

you on msn? pm if u are - ill reel the settings off to you

- o - o = 11

- - - - = 16

o o - - = 3 etc etc

ill be home at 5.30 from work - ill be on all nite!

dont leave it too late! ill be drunk by 7pm! - mmmm stella!

According to the instructions, when you remove the end cover there is a row of double pins. Moving the jumper, there is only one, closer to the edge of the case will render more power. Mine is currently set at the next to last set of pins and has a :D grin factor.

I will be trying the final setting on Monday on my drive to London and will post my thoughts.

So far I have only noticed one smoke cloud and that was flooring it after going slowly for a couple of miles but otherwise I have not noticed any smoke. I have deliberately checked in my mirror when accelerating to check but the results of the increased forward motion have grabbed too much of my attention to the front. IMO, it is well worth the money.

ok.....

1 - pin

0 - no pin (jumper - whatever)

1 1 1 1 = setting 1

0 1 1 1 = 2

1 0 1 1 = 3

0 0 1 1 = 4

1 1 0 1 = 5

0 1 0 1 = 6

1 0 0 1 = 7

0 0 0 1 = 8

1 1 1 0 = 9

0 1 1 0 = 10

1 0 1 0 = 11

0 0 1 0 = 12

1 1 0 0 = 13

0 1 0 0 = 14

1 0 0 0 = 15

0 0 0 0 = 16 wow!
