Headlight smoking

Featured Replies

Ok so i brought a red vrs the other wheel iv already had the nasty chrome grill surround painted anthracite now i wanna do something with the headlights...... do i strip the lights down and colour code the inside chrome the same as grill or just wack on some light smoke lamin-x film?

there's so many topics of this nature now, my opinion is this; do what you want, it's your car. That said, the insides are already chrome, aren't they. Lamin-X is a great product, but make sure it doesn't lower your light output too much.

take the lens off and paint the inner chrome bit an apply lamin x :)

Or buy depo one's which are already done?

+1 for depo headlights

+2 for depo ones.

Whats the depo ones

Headlights with the chrome painted

I don't see the point in buying the Depo ones just so that to chrome is painted, the headlights are so easy to split.

Although I would say buy the Depo projector lights :)

+1 on the light smoke lamin-x, it's what I have.

It does reduce light output, but not enough to take it back off. I have Orsram Nightbreakers in to help get back what I lost. Anything more than the light smoke on headlights is getting dangerous IMO.

I feel deceived... I came here expecting to see a headlight on fire...
