hi, just on the cusp of buying a tfsi octy vrs. drove one in weymouth couple of days ago and its the only car that ticked all the boxes - fast, economical (for performance) huge boot, looked good and handled well.

currently got an aygo so erm yeah.....pretty similar cars tbh lol. fed up with no torque and a rough sounding engine all the time. apart from that we have just rehomed a retired greyhound and she doesnt fit too well in the aygo lol.

 

the one i looked at was 07 plate 43k full service history inc just had cambelt done, new tyres and 12month warrantee (sp) and it was blue without parking sensors. it was a tad over priced at £8k. what do you think?

Hi from East Devon.  One of my favourite roads down to Weymouth - A35 to Bridport, then the road I forget the name of which winds its way down to Portland.

yep that road is fantastic! the winding coast road is even better if you ask me. and if i do end up buying the car (as i suspect i will) then that is definately the way back i will be driving!!!! a bit of a hidden gem that one - you only have to take note of how many motorcyclists go down there to know that. amazing views of chesil beach. on a nice day its unbeatable. im in yeovil but used to live just outside axminster.
