Neuspeed 28mm RARB Bushes

Featured Replies

Prob been asked before, but where can I get new bushes for a 28mm rarb from ?

It looks like the bushes are the earlier symmetrical ones, so would these super pro ones do the job ?

Having had a close look at the bushes, I don't think the super pro ones will work.

So i've ordered the correct ones from Awesome git.

2-3 weeks before I get them though :(

2-3 weeks gives you time to get the rarb dipped and powdercoated!

The paint is a bit shoddy on it already, the previous owner tried to touch it up, but needs doing again.

Tbh though I will prob just sand it back (no rust on it), and prime then paint it myself.

I'm not really 1 for "bling" and as it's under the car nobody is gonna see it (unless I get it wrong at combe 1 day lol) :D

hmm, not sure to be honest they will probably fit as they are symmetrical but the Neuspeed bushes are not symmetrical. This may not be the issue but think one side of the Neuspeed bush slopes more to allow the bracket to sit along it. TBH as long a the bush holds the bar in place tight and the bracket is touching enough area of super pro bush should be ok. I may go that route too as i am getting a creaking from the rear of my car and think it is the Neuspeed bushes are worn. I bought the RARB second hand so have no idea how old it is.

There is 2 designs of the bushes / hangers.

The ones that came with my rarb is the pre 2005 design, so the bushes are symmetrical.

Ah ok interesting, was not aware of that.

I have the newer type then.

Seems that it you have the earlier type you may well be ok with those super pro.

I bet Neuspeed did not change the brackets and only changed bushes to help compensate lateral movement between bracket bush and RARB?

I think the superpro ones could work but might need trimming as they seem "too rounded", so I ordered the correct ones (they were cheaper than the superpro ones too).

The brackets are a different shape also.

I'd say it is done to make sure there are no aftermarket bushes they could be used instead.
