Recent work carried out in the past 1,700 miles. 5-30 OE Oil, OE oil fiter, OE airfilter, NGK plugs, OE Skoda coil packs fitted and replaced by Skoda under warrenty, would have come to £150 for the coil packs!  OE Rocker cover breather pipe, OE oil pick up pipe, OE green temp sensor, throttle body fully cleaned and new gasket put in on replacement. After all this work was carried out she was fully reset via VAG-Com and Throttle body re-calibrated.  I will only buy genuine Skoda/VW/Audi parts as with a car like this she needs to be looked after properly and would be very grateful if the new owner would do the same. Cheap parts do not work properly, best to spend a few extra pennies and have that peace of mind you have genuine and reliable parts.

Her service history needs to be seen to be believed!  She has been very well cared for and loved since new!

In June she had a full detail which included.....Carpet taken out and steam cleaned, seats taken out and cleaned and then treated to SupaGuard leather treatment on the sides of the seats. The exterior had G3 compound machine polished, Clayed, very expensive polish applied and buffed with machine polisher twice and then finished off with two coats of high gloss wax.  This took a total of 19 hours to do as door shuts, engine bay etc were all included.

A lovely car to drive that is in need of nothing.  Starts first time and every time  uses no oil or water and pulls very well throughout all gears.

Also packed with many creature comforts such as Climate Control (Freezing cold air-con as was re-gassed 15 months ago) Remote central locking with 2 keys, 4 electric windows, height and reach steering wheel adjustment accompanied by the usual VRS spec with the three spoke leather bound steering wheel, alloy looking pedals, gearknob, half leather trim and the 17" standard VRS alloy wheels that are in excellent condition with 5mm tread of the front tyres and 6mm on the rear tyres.

The VRS Octavia shares the same chassis as the MK4 Golf just with a bigger boot. It also has the 'AUQ' engine which is found in some of the Golf MK4's, Audi TT's and Seat's so parts are very easy to obtain and cheap. The AUQ engine produces 180bhp which is plenty fast enough, yet for £250 they can be remapped to around 210bhp. The VRS Octavias are fuel friendly cars as mine does 33mpg around town and I have seen 41mpg on a run, not bad for a car that can do 0-60 in 7.5 seconds and go on to a top speed of over 140mph!

All in all a very well loved and cared for Octavia VRS in excellent condition inside and out backed by full Skoda serivice history.  Any AA, RAC, Independent inspection is more than welcome as are test drives. I also belong to the biggest Skoda Forum on the net with many members who have vast knowledge of these cars, and for just £12 a year membership I would suggest to the new owner to join as they are a great team on there.

Ok, now for the niggles!  So she is 10 years old and has covered over 100k so not in 'New' condition.  Few minor stone chips to the front spoiler, 2 small stone chips on the back that can't be seen and have been covered by the correct pain code touch up pen. Also there is a bit of rust, the size of a 1p by the handle on the boot, again this has been treated and covered via touch up pen so it is very hard to notice.  The passenger seat has a slight mark on the leather, I would say the width of a little finger and about 1" long.  I don't have a clue how to lift marks on leather so have left it, plus it really is not that noticeable anyway.

I am based in Winslow which is just outside of Milton Keynes (M1/A5) and very close to Buckingham (A41/ A421) (MK18) postcode.

Price wise I am looking for £1,650 which to me is a very realistic price for a very well loved car in great condition.

Thank you mate  :)

The Ebay ad' is going up tonight so will put the link up plus I have added a few things I forgot to put in the ad' on here like new brake calipers, discs etc.  Ebay charged me £10.50 to list my car then I added some bits to it before the ad' goes live tonight at 9.15, then I clicked 'Revise Advert' and was charged another £10.50......Robbing swines!

go on 'live chat' explain you made an error and they will refund you. I have done it 2 or 3 times without issue

Lovely car - email sent!

She has only been up for just over an hour with 17 watchers and 2 questions!

I'm not surprised, it's an absolute bargain, hope you get what you ask for it.

GLWTS.
