Does the Amundsen Sat Nav have pre-outs?

 

I want to upgrade the speakers, add an amplifier and a sub. But will need pre-outs.

Or will I need a Bit Ten to convert the high level speaker outputs and un-equalize?

You could always use an amp which will accept high-level inputs. It's what I've done with mine (Audison SR4 amp) and it works really well. A Bit Ten would be amazing but they don't come cheap. Depends on how much you're willing to spend.

I was thinking of the BitTen so that it could clean up the sound (eq wise) from the high level outputs.

My system sounds great without the Bit 10. Obviously, the Bit 10 offers a huge amount of permutations in terms of equalisation etc. but I imagine that you'd need to run it in conjunction with an amp. When I spoke to the chap to installed mine, he said to get the amp and speakers upgraded first, then consider the Bit 10 if it still wasn't good enough. Top be honest, I'm glad I followed his advice!
