I brought a Nissan Primera GT 150hp, normally aspirated. Purchased partly on the back of the m-sport competition work/win, but also it was a brilliant handling car...  So yes fond memories of those races/years.

I love the Labatts Cossie :)

There is a video of Tim Harvey driving it again, but it's been blocked on YouTube for copyright reasons :(

One thing hasn't changed over the years, BTCC is still a contact sport

John was happy to speak to people in the paddock and I also spotted him signing programmes and having his photo taken with the admiring fans.

He must run a vauxhall dealership as his trailer was all logo'd with the dealership name.

He isn't the only one, if you go to Dolgellau in Wales, you can buy a Ford off Gwyndaf Evans and while you are there you can drool allover his rally Escorts.

As my post above he did run a Vauxhall dealership many years ago but is Volvo and Jag now http://www.clelands.co.uk/ but family definitely don't run a vauxhall dealership now

Think John still has an odd race in a porche and does super touring with an older vectra http://www.johncleland.net/cleland.htm
