Prosport boost gauge

Featured Replies

I know someone on here has fitted this gauge in an air vent pod to a vrs as i remember seeing the pictures but can't remember who or find the thread.

I have got the same to install but am a complete novice at this sort of thing, so was looking for help with wiring and installation.

( a written guide with pics would great) A big ask I know but I need it !!!

Cheers

Jimmy

Just had a look your about 1hr 20 mins away, I'd be happy to come to you to get it done.

I'm always up for helping a fellow Forum member out, does seem a bit of a trek but you're more than welcome to come across!

I'd be happy to come across :-) I need to find some decent red pipe as the stuff supplied looks cheap! Is it 3 mm and will 3m be enough as I've seen some samco stuff on the bay.

When would be good for you?? Next Sunday any good??

I'm at the Nurburgring next weekend so that's a no-go!

PM me and we'll agree on a date. The clear tubing is fine to run as far as the engine bay, I bought some black (personal preference) to then go from the bulk head to the FPR pipe. You'll also need a handful of Scotch-Lock connectors (3 or 4), an inline (straight) connector to join the clear and coloured vac pipe (unless you replace the lot), some insulation tape as well.

Are you maybe thinking of me? The above is mine

No, it really doesn't.

But then suppose it's all down to preference

i guess it must be as the vent one is the most ridiculous lookng thing ive ever seen!

plus mine can be sprayed or wrapped if you dont like the finish and the gauge is cheap looking so that doesnt help matters lol

think i need a gauge like yours looking amazing!!

I prefer the slats as to me it flows better with the rest of the dash and looks closer to oem +

Can't remember what my gauge cost but it was pretty cheap, dims down to a dull red as well for night driving

if you can find a link would be sweet as ive been staring at your pic and decided i need one :giggle:

wish i could get mine close the the dash texture that would be oem+ to the max :giggle:

ta!
