Supermarket Car Parks - Scary Places

Featured Replies

We should invent a new symbol, similar to the ones for 'mother and baby' and 'disabled' . It could be called the 'Personal space' zone. and have a symbol of someone kissing their car bonnet. Only people who open car doors with great consideration and drop passengers off before parking up can use these spaces. Similarly they will face a fine if they don't park square and in the middle of their allotted area :)

This will be law when I take over the country

We need to get our manifesto worked out. And if we need to, get the Lib Dems on side to take overall control (although as they are a bit anti-car, we may need to drug them)

Another bad place for getting your car knocked about is the local tip! Everyone as to park in a  queue and there is 4 rows. All the scratches I had on my Octavia were from the tip!

I always try and park beside another well looked after car in the supermarket, because in theory they will be careful as well. However if they leave before you, you have no choice who parks beside you........

I  have picked up loads of punctures going to the tip :(

As for car parks, I always park at the far end of the park, in an empty area  (under good lighting to deter thieves) if that option isn't available then I park next to a clean well kept car that has been parked neatly,

But probably most importantly is to park as far from the shops as possible. My reasoning is the lazy slobs that don't wash their cars, can't be ar$ed to park properly , don't care If they bang into your car, are way to bone idle to consider walking an extra 50 yards

My car is usually in need of a wash (and a wax) but I normally park a ways from the shop door to avoid "school drive yummie mummies".
