Can any one help me with getting to the bottom of slight whistling in low gears while accelerating ?!

Could be loose pipe/hose

The turbocharger makes a whistling noise getting up to speed. As long as the noise is only slight then no worries.

But if it starts to sounds like an old emergency services siren then there are problems.

Plenty of posts on the subject of turbo failure.

Im gonna have to agree with the turbo whistle as well....

If it's a new noise then I'd check the hoses.

 

If it's always done it I wouldn't worry too much.
