Trouble is we have an "excess" here which you have to pay when you make a claim (typically a couple of hundred quid) so sometimes it's not worth claiming on your insurance. Definitely worth reporting it to the police though!

Definitely report it to the police. Then check your insurance for whether it's worth a claim or not. As already mentioned, unfortunately often it's not :( Hope the little b*st*rds get what's coming to them tho
