12 years ago I went out to buy a new toilet seat and bought my first Octavia instead. My wife thought I was crazy and my son laughed out loud. Now my wife won't let me buy any other make and my son stopped laughing years ago.

I ordered my 4th Octy Elegance in July this year and it should arrive at the dealers next week. Petrol this time (1.4 TSI) because I don't do as much mileage now and I've done the maths.

Brilliant cars and they've all been trouble free and a pleasure to own and drive. I always deal with Simpsons at Preston. Very nice people and they keep me up to date.

Can't wait for the new one.

Hey all, Managed to get under my partners car at the weekend to service it and change the oil. Whilst there I was quite taken by how clean the engine was, but there was a patch of what looked like oil on the undertray. This was later discovered to be coming (I believe) from the gearbox drain plug. The car has had a new clutch, flywheel and replacement box in the last twelve months and so I can only assume there's an issue with the drain plug or a seal. Looking really closely at the drain plug

Hi there! I recently installed on my car an OEM Electric tow bar on my 1.5, but pressing the button inside the trunk, nothing comes out from under the boot. According to Skoda workshop, problem was the control unit: it was the model specific for electric cars with part number Skoda 5H2907383B; in fact looking on VAG the right code for my car is the 5H2907383BLc. I found a pre-owned one over eBay and when mechanic connected it and turned car on, it enlightened itself for awhile. Is it matter o

I've been the owner of a 2021 Scala for almost a year and a half by now, 45000km on the clock. I thought I would post this here to see if anyone have experienced something similar or have a hunch what could be the problem. I do need to change my lovely (but aged) 2010 Fabia 1.6tdi so went looking for a year old 1.5tsi DSG SEL, found a nice one at a local dealer but when looking at the finance side of things, it worked out similar to buy a brand new one (via Carwow prices) due to the Skoda contribution and the lower APR on a PCP.
