Wing mirror damage.

Featured Replies

Hello fellow members,i need help with something... Today as i was stuck in a traffic jam on a rainy day, some biker was in such a hurry not to get wet that, when lane splitting he hit my passenger side wing mirror, and then fled the scene, now the damage to the mirror is minimal, nothing is broken (nor the glass and neither the shell and the electrical adjustment and heater still work normally) but the mirror was forced forward and now it has come loose,(it's still in place though),i think it may have broken one of the plastic clips/teeth that keep it in place. Now my question is: Do i need to replace the whole thing or can it be repaired? I was thinking about gluing it in place, will it hold?
