Auto correct doesn't prevent the ability to read before postage and packaging, Steve ;)

TFSI  definately has a cambelt but the cams are chain driven in the casing gearbox end and the TSi is chain driven but not sure on the interval on chain replacement as they do need replacing as they stretch and go slack.

Skoda uk say every 4 years,i think the mileage is every 60,000miles.

TFSI deffo has a belt, or it better had since I paid a lot of money to get it done a couple of years ago.

BWA engine is belt driven.

CCZA is chain driven.

See this is where I'm getting confused, some places say 100k some say 60k and iv heard most things in between, my car is on 95k and been looking into getting it done with the water pump

When was it last replaced?

Camberley is a place in Surrey.

Thought it might have been cockney rhyming slang for a moment :D

Camberley town - crown?

I'm not 100% sure, going to get it done just for the peice of mind I think, rather spend £500 rather than the cost of a new engine/rebuild

4 years with an inspection at 60,000 then every 20,000 until the renewal interval of 120,000 unless it looks worn on inspection.

The inspection bit is a bit misleading too. To inspect fully and properly, including vital checks to the condition of the tensioners, you'd need to remove the parts anyway.

So at first inspection I would replace.
