One more get up...

Featured Replies

Go to pick up my new to me VRS estate tomorrow. Blue, with silver grill and wheels. Heated seats the only option I think. The main one I wanted anyway. Looking forward to the drive home. Just need to learn how to check the oil, and find someone who wants to swap their usb lead for an apple one....

Went to buy something nearly new and sensible, and ended up with something 2 years old, sensible, and really quick :)

Just hoping the fact it's a really low mileage one isn't a bad sign...

Been here a ling time btw, two Octavias previously, but it's been a few years with a Honda Accord S-Type, and an old Mercedes A-Class for the last year due to hard times. Life's looking up though, and I'm looking forward to my drive home :D

very nice

enjoy :) I have an estate, love it, it may be a keeper :)

Very nice car - sure you will love it!

Nice car, lovely colour!

Very nice, especially the alloy rims.

Most of them are ok so don't worry. You'll have warranty anyway so just enjoy the car! Good luck and post back to let us all know how it goes.

Will do :D Just a day at work to do now.

I'm picking my vrs up this afternoon. I want a USB lead so if it has an IPood one I'd be happy to swap.

:) I need USB too

Our Monte came with the ipod lead which was no use to us either but the dealer quite happily replaced it for a USB on request.

My dealer wouldn't swap the leads. ... just point blank refused. I got a very small discount off a micro usb lead to connect my phone but the system seems to be 'optimised' for apple and it didn't flow smoothly so I got a refund and just use the mdi with my very old ipod nano.

On a different note, the mdi always starts up at the first song alphabetically no matter what the last track was. ...can I change this?

No, they said they only had Apple. I mainly use Deezer, so guess I'll just use the aux in. Fun drive home though :)
