Anyone have a VAG-com cable

Featured Replies

A bit of a stab in the dark, But might anyone be selling a Vag-Com cable in the Stoke-on-trent/Staffordshire area.

Please let mail me,

Cheers Drew.

Unlikely to be fair.  Very rarely see it.  Mainly because you have to pay $100 for the support so its almost easier to just buy new for the lifetime support.  :)

Can anyone advise me of a cable that is compatible from flebay.....

Afraid not. Just about everything on eBay will be counterfeit and you won't get help on here for that.

Are we talking about VCDS or VCDS lite.

If lite then yes fleabay ones work fine. Ross tech don't actually sell interface cables for the lite version.

Its all sorted now, i found a guy local to me who used to work for Jag and rolls royce, he does mobile diagnostics on the side, only charged me 40 notes, so im quite impressed, All sorted now.

Cheers.

£40 just for a scan? you were seen off!!  I would have bought an ebay cable for a few quid and used VCDS Lite.

Thing is my airbag needed setting and i would preffer not to use Flebay stuff for that for the reason of setting off the airbags.

Arh, airbags.... I'll retract my comment - I am yet to scan my airbag module.... - just incase it goes wrong.

I may sell mine.

believe it or not the guy who came to fix mine has one for sale he used it when he was training for Jag/Rolls, it has loads of different modules on and also perfomance upgrades for vag cars, and many others.

Hmmm tempting,.......
