pikey mods for a vrs c r

Featured Replies

Is there any good mods I should do to my vrs when I pick it up Tuesday? Eg air box mods? Bigger intake pipe?

Remap it.

That will come after all the things that would help it be mapped better

Tint the windows if not already done..... Stubby aerial.

I'm not aware of much you can get for the CR engine-wise, but keep me posted if you find anything

Change the engine for a petrol !

That's so funny I almost laughed

So the air intake pipe is big enough? Where abouts is the intercooler? Is it vented enough?

Remap as is should see you 205bhp happily for a stage 1. No idea if the idea would be frowned upon but you could remove baffles from air box and put in a new panel filter.

I did that with my fabia. Also the bigger intake pipe and the wheel arch vent. Just thought there would have also been things like this to do to the cr

The PD160 intake was a good upgrade on the 130 PD as the stock one was tiny. Can't say I ever compared it to the CR170 but perhaps it's already a good enough size?

Is there a stage 2 for a CR?

I'll have a look Tuesday when I get it

Is there a stage 2 for a CR?

 DPF removal?

 DPF removal?

That's a glorified Stage 1  :)

I was going to delete dpf spoken to the guys at awesome gti, and if any problems or warning lights occur could be harder to find in long run

in what way?

When its done the car has to be mapped accordingly
