Yeti Adventure

Featured Replies

Just come back from Hortons in Lincoln and the wifes only gone a bought a Yeti Adventure 4x4, the the 140hp 2.0 engine. can you Yeti owners tell me what the real world MPG is for these? coming from a 1.4 Roomster, she thinks it's going to be a HUGE difference, but can any of you prove her wrong.

A difficult question to answer because not everyone drives in the same manner, uses the same roads or behaves in the same way, so perhaps we need a few more details of the type of journey she does?

However on a 48 mile commute to work, on poor cross-country A roads with a small amount of urban miles, driven in a "defensive" manner, in the summer I can get just under 50mpg and in the winter about 3mpg less.

Over the 3 years, 69k miles I have had the car I've averaged just over 46mpg

Thanks for that, the wife could drive Miss Daisy, so I'll tell her to try and beat my daily average (won't be easy though :giggle: )

Tracked my 110 4x4 (same engine, detuned) on fuelly bar the first fill up and with 34k on the clock she's averaging 45mpg, which isn't far off the manufactures combined figure of 46.3 :)

B) choice of wheels by the way,

Thanks, she test drove an Elegance, full leather and heated seat, the full works but it cost the same for the Adventure as the 1 year old Elegance, so a no brainer really.
