Dead N75 valve. Replacement?

Featured Replies

I'm pretty sure my N75 is dead,I have low boost,VCDS shows between 0.00 and 0.04 for "duty valve cycle".I measured the resistance on the valve's pins and I got 0.03 Ohms ,I read on the forums that I must get between 25 and 35 OHms for it.

So need a new valve, and I don't know if I can fit a different one from an Audi or other 1.8T,because these N75s for my AGU are pretty hard to get.

Found this from an S3 ....but is it right for my ancient AGU?

If you used an auto ranging Ohm-meter, check that it was displaying in Ohms and not kilo-Ohms.

30 Ohms is 0.03 k.

That's a H valve , usually referred to as the race N75, & often used on highly tuned engines to smooth out boost . Your AGU would have had a C valve as standard which is superceded with the F valve. N.B all the N75 valves have the same part number except for the letter postfix.

and the VRS N75? Is right for AGU?

Just found one.

If it's a C or F valve it'll be ok.

Oh God....I'm getting so tired and frustrated to fing my sudden loss of power and dropping idle.

I don't know where to search anymore

The N75 looks ok,I did a run test and it shows on VCDS values of 99.8% over 2700 RPM,so it works just fine

Throttle body was changed and cleaned

DV was checked and holds the pressure just fine

I have new sparks

Lamba was checked and is fine

MAF was checked and is fine,I get allmost 130g/s at redline in 2nd gear

All hoses,I meam all of them were checked twice,so no vacuum leak

Fuel pressure regulator was replaced

Fuel pump was replaced (other reasons)

Intercooler in clean

The intake sistem is clean,no oil

PCV valve was replaced

I'll replace the coil pack (I have the old type),but for the moment budget is low, because I need a new steering rack)
