Hi Everyone,

 

I have just picked up my sport this weekend and tonight tried to connect my satnav to my computer for charging and the driver software is not being recognised.

 

Has any one else had problems like this and know how to overcome it? I have downloaded the Garmin fresh etc but computer still wont recognise hardware!

 

Hope someone can help! I knew picking it up on Friday the 13th may cause a problem haha!

yep I always get a device it says "device not recognised"

 

but if I look in device manager, no sign of an unrecognised device

 

pid updates, loads maps and additional services everything works with fresh so I think red herring

Yeah it seems to work with Fresh now I have downloaded it. I was just hoping to see if the sat nav was charging through the computer but it does not show it so maybe a long journey is advised to get it fully charged!

it does charge through the USB but no charge level indication, ours took 8 hours or so to charge through usb

Actually saw mine fully charged last night for the first time
