Are these Vag com logs ok?

Featured Replies

Well yesterday I had a bit of time to do a fault code scan and a log of boost in third year.

Just wondering if someone can look through the log and see if its ok? I only logged boost pressure so not too sure if any more info is needed??

i have cut out the bits that say no fault

Two of those faults - Load signal from alternator and drive battery voltage (possibly the airbag one too) could be caused by the wiring loom at the front of the gearbox starting to break.

Or you may just have a battery that needs charging up.....although the load signal fault is nearly always the wiring in front of the gearbox failing.

As for the Recirc air flap fault, I have this exact same fault on my PD100. I keep clearing it and it keeps coming back, although the recirc/fresh button seems to work normally. I assume it is a intermittent fault with the motor, but while it still works I just ignore it.

Clear all the faults and scan again in a week or two.......sometimes random faults are generated and never reoccur when cleared.
