Hi, just bought my first Skoda over a week ago and have been stuffed by the seller, the dreaded limp mode has manifested itself after a 130 mile run down the M6 at a gentle pace, getting used to the car, first time I gave it some it  just seemed to hold its breath, which I now know is the limp mode, switch off & back on and all's well. Lofty's thread on the Mr Muscle treatment seems the way to go, BUT as I am not familiar with these engines (give me a BMW Bike engine any day) I am uncertain as to how to proceed. So, If anyone local to Kidderminster wants to earn a few drinking vouchers and get well fed for a morning by performing the said treatment at my expense, I would be forever grateful. contact me on 07774486554 anytime before 8pm. The Car is a L & K Octavia Estate 2003 with 132,000 miles on the clock, with all the full service history.HELP

Welcome.

May be worth asking again in the mr muscle thread, also if you're into your bikes, check out the Briskoda bikers thread in off topic chat
