Tx autosport fmic?

Featured Replies

So my intercooler kit from tx autosport arrived today, however I opened the box and had a look, do you get pipes that go from the left side of the intercooler straight up to the egr valve or do you have to keep the standard pipe from the egr valve and extend from where the old intercooler used to be?

No you dont get a replacment top pipe. You have the cut the end off the 45 rubber pipe that goes into the top of the intercooler to put one of the ally pipes in to.

...might try looking at getting some Forge or Darkside alloy connectors to link the silicone of the kit to the existing pipework.

That's what I'll probably end up doing but using the ones off eBay for £18.

There was someone that posted on here that he got the top boost pipes from eBay individually for £80 the pipes were green of anyone see that?

To join up to the tx pipes I used from the egr (delete in my case) 57mm 90deg silcone bend, to a 57mm 45deg ally pipe and then to 57mm-51mm 45deg reducer silicone pipe wich the 51mm end will clamp on to the map pipe. All bought from ash hoses.
