hi all

i have the octiva and its small display screen has gone blank

the one that shows outside temp, mpg, and it being an auto which gear you are in

have checked the fuses and all are fine the only other thing that seems to be affected is the dash dimmer the radio and heater controls all dim but not the dash

has anybody had this problem before, or can anyone help

On my audi the on/off button for the display is on the underside of the wiper stalk... take a look - you may have pressed it without knowing it? It's the same button as used to reset the mpg average, etc, but a short press turns display on/off.

nope just tried it and it still off back to the drawing board again
