Little cherp underload?

Featured Replies

Hello,

Basically I took my car to get the V belt changed as it was squeeking a tad, only cost £10 for the part and fitting, cant complain :).

A few days maybe a week after it now cherps when 'Underload' I'd say, like going up a hill in a higher gear.

Any ideas what it could be as it didn't do it before the belt got changed, or it could of been but not herd over the squeel?

Thanks guys

If yours is a diesel it could be alternator pulley or tensioner. This may be why you had a squealing belt.
