Hi guys me again

My car was serviced at 53478 in december 2012 so this was before I bought the car

I purchased the car in july thi year so in the 7 month it had inly covered roughly 3 thousand mile and was service before I picked the car up at 56809 .

Now my oill sevice light has appeared

Little spanner with oil in sidplay .

Ive check the levels and they are fine . Am I able just to reset the light and carry on

Can't see your car on my phone (or open that) I did mine the other day, read many different methods. The one that worked for me was to hold the odometer reset in, turn ignition on and keep it held in till it disappeared. If I let go as per other methods it did squat.

That's what my handbook recommends. And if "OIL" shows after this ,repeat performance. My Furby manual does also give a method for non fixed servicing, but I'm reliably informed that furbys only have fixed servicing, by uber techs on here,.My MOT place tells me that service intervile on mine can be changed with VAGCOM. I know who I believe, hence they won't get any service work

Manual says service at 10,000 miles or 12 months .

Try using a computer, as it's written in 'Rich Text Format' which is a common all computer understandable language.
