MDI not recognied after install

Can I code this using vcds lite, if so how do I so it. What are the steps and will a generic cable work for this?

I would also like to change the door locking so all doors unlock on a single press and poss lock when moving (anti hijacking)

Access controller 19-CAN Gateway and activate 3E-Media Interface.

It should then work although you may need to deactivate Aux on the HU as well.

Have a look in the CCM module for the locking/unlocking features and see what you can activate there.

No idea if either are possible with VCDS lite or the non-genuine cable you have.

VCDS lite and cheapo cable won't do CAN so I don't think you will be able to do it, you need the full version.
