Right so my a friends friend said that if I take the vacuum pipe off the egr valve that i will get better mpg and will run smoother? However it'll fail a mot if I leave the pipe disconnected, just wanting to clarify if it's true?

Will probably throw a light up on the dash too. Youd need to block the vac pipe off too.

I wouldn't say there is any difference in disabling the egr...but that'sjust me!
