right guys as discussed at the krispy kreme meet last week the SOC are having a Blackpool illuminations run on the 14th of October with a final stop at the Bispham kitchen a chippy (see link for meet up details, times and parking arrangements for the chippy)

Monday would be a good day, I did it last night from south to north. We started at bang on 7.30 having parked under the first light gantry. 3hrs for 6 miles, I'm glad I used the Roomster with an auto and a good cooling system. A nightmare, by the time we got to the Tower the drunks were getting stroppy, (the ones outside the car). Those cars that got there at about 8pm are probably just getting to the end now. 

Never, ever, ever, will I do it on a Saturday again.
