I've spied the picture of the lap timer on the maxi dot several times (albeit the same picture) but I can't find it in the car menu at all. It's not exactly a problem , obviously, but I hate knowing there are things the car should have but doesn't thanks to someone in the UK hq saying no.

Mind you, there appears to be a few things like that, cruise control as standard, no ambient lighting, no power fold mirrors etc. ah well, at least we got the free ice scraper!

I am not sure it will help you much though, it you can't see it as an item on the menu, as it doesn't really tell you how to get it displayed - just how to operate it if it is displayed.

Man I thought I'd read that cover to cover, printed and PDF! The mrs did think I needed to get an eye test right enough.

I'll have another read while I'm back at the dealers today to kill some time. Better killing time than a person!

Do you mean the driving time section? I think that's meant to be journey time as it suggests hours and minutes. Still don't have that though!

I'm slightly confused. I was trying to clarify if Juniperz meant the driving time in case he read that as the lap timer.

There is no mention of the lap timer on the page of the manual.

On the plus side I found the option for journey time in the setup menu.
