Featured Replies

Having to change my cam cover gasket as leaking. I've removed breathers pipes, coils and wires, cam belt cover and the 9 bolts that hold the cover down but still cant get it off. Am i missing something, tried rocking it, tapping it with a mallet etc. any ideas?

Well after about half an hour the cover came lose . Now i still can't remove it as there are 2 small metal pipes that run v close to the edges on the right hand side. I have removed the bracket that holds the front pipe in place so the one is out of the way . The rear one doesn't have any give in it so i hoping there is a bolt that can be removed to give some space. This is turning in to a

pita .
