Some will be aware that I ordered a 5 door white Sport on Sunday with a false floor.  The dealership entered it onto the system and it didn't not allow them to do so.  I had confirmation yesterday that the factory has accepoted the order with the false floor.

 

Before I ordered the car on Sunday, some 2 weeks ago, I contacted Skoda Customer Services with the question of why the Sport did not have a false floor as a factory option when the other 3 models do.  They came back with a holding email to say that they were looking into it.  Well, they called me yesterday, they had contacted the factory and originally the factory were not going to be building the Sport with a false floor as they didn't think there was a market for it.  It would seem that they have mis-calculated how many Sport owners do want the false floor from the factory.  The cost is ovbiously cheaper if factory specced, £60 compared to £100-£150 if you buy the parts at the parts counter at the local dealership.  They are now building the Sport with a false floor if you want it.  The PR code is "3GH".

 

They said that the new Citigo brochure (when it comes out) will show the addition.
