Crank sensor will give misfires, loss of power at times, poor starting and hesitation on accelerating sometimes.

The loss of power would not be all the time just as and when the sensor info is not present or misread etc.

I had the crank sensor go on my a3 1.8t, it was a bugger started of with random misfire and power loss and got to the point where engine would stall and not start again till cooled down. Easy to change the sensor though I would suggest getting it change as soon as possible.

I got a new sencer today gonna change it tomorrow a few days ago my bra was flyin now it hesitates at low revs and just ain't as fast the sencer has gone down hill quick with not starting for ages it was now and then but now it's regular I just she's bk to normal tomoz
