Hi everyone

 

Been looking round a few Superb estates today and the storage cubby holes in the back do not all have doors on.

 

I have seen two L&K face lift models and one has doors on and one has them open with just a small restraint to stop things falling out.

 

The dealer doesn't know why there is a difference. May be ordering soon but would prefer one with doors.

 

Any thoughts?

Cost cutting? I don't think the new Octy has doors either.

I noticed that too with the f/l.  Do both that you've seen still have the partition system in the boot?

Just picked up my new L&K on Monday - now have a massive 100km recorded (haven't had much of a chance to try it out yet - start/stop thing is still freaking me out a traffic lights). As a result of this converstation I had to go and look to see if these doors were missing! -  both cubby holes have doors on them - on the drivers side is the one with the first aid sign. The car comes with the aluminium and soft partitioners as well as a net - I did not get the net with my previous Elegance model.

Think they both had the partition system. Glad to hear dpmcd`s new L&K  has them in (know what you mean about the stop/start)

 

Going to dealers tomorrow so I may or may not have an answer.
