Hi guys and girls,

So I recently sold my golf mk4 gt tdi that was a whole load of hassle. £2000 paid into the severe issues it had, so I cut my losses got rid and started looking at everything I could am settled on this yellow VRS. I've always wanted one and even more with the WRC spoiler so I instantly fell in love with it, 92k on the clock, 12 months MOT an absolutely immaculate vehicle inside and outside although it has a few bits that could do with sorting but overall I'm in love with it every time I look at it. Also it goes like stink! Anyway il shut up now and let the only 3 pics I have, more to come

I'm sure I used to see this round Mansfield?

I had a yellow one a few years ago loved that car. That's what brought me back to my silver one couldn't find a decent yellow nearby but happy with my silver one. Lovin the WRC by the way.

I must admit yellow is my fav octy colour.

Your black one was tidy tho Clive

Unfortunately yellow octy's VRS never came here in Greece

 

Only Black/Silver/Red

I'm sure I used to see this round Mansfield?

Depends if Huddersfield is close to Mansfield, I haven't a clue where Mansfield is haha but it it's close it will be the one yes

So far ordered:-

Ram air filter at £50 (thought it was a bargain)

A heavy duty seat cover, as I'm always using my car for work and I'm currently having to change my clothes every time I finish work haha

A standard aerial, signal up in the sticks is awful so it's a must.

So far nothing amazing ordered but I've got my eye on a few things, decat is a must but AwesomeGTI say it requires a remap after fitting? Is this because of the engine light maybe? I'm new to VAG's

Might be a different one if your that way up.

Don't put a filter straight onto the air flow meter without some sort of heat shield. They don't like the hot air it sucks in.

Look through the threads and maybe get a cold air pipe for the filter to sit on
