How do I separate the yellow (drivers seat) airbag connector, I've slid back the white slide and lifted the clip below but the connector does not come apart, what am I doing wrong How do you separate the airbag connector, i want to clean it as it trips the airbag light intermittently.

I have a Vagcomm to rest the light.

I take it you have disconnected the battery. The connectors are a tight fit.
