I know this has probably been done before, but I've just been quoted £550 to supply and fit a detachable towbar to my 57 plate vrs.

Just want people opinions if this is about right or too expensive.

I paid 320 in april.

Was that done by skoda?

Oh ok and was that with the universal electrics or the cat specific one?

universial i believe, in that they don't turn off the parking sensors when i am reversing with the bike rack attached (i dont use it for towing) this however is no hassle at all when i only reverse for a couple of seconds at a time. I would rather save the cash.

I can strongly recommend Genesis Towing in Telford. Great service and product and proper coded electrics and much cheaper than £520!
