Hi, just a quick note to introduce myself,

My name is John and I drive a Superb 130pd with 17'' Solids & xenons.

I'm a cab driver and have currently covered 70'000 miles in nearly 2 years of owning my superb.

Problems I have encountered so far -

Drivers elec window control panel replaced

headlight switch replaced

lower dash panel (drivers side) replaced

sticking rear drivers side door never sorted

all door handle trims & pulls (interior) replaced

Rear air vent replaced

Stiff boot greased

indicator stalk replaced

vibration under bonnet (cam belt cover) sorted

alternator replaced

tension pulley replaced

power steering something replaced

drivers side rear seatbelt replaced

number plate lights (fittings not bulbs!!) replaced

brake light swithch replaced

currently undiagnosed vibration on idle from underneath car (exhaust?)

Thats all I can think off at the moment but i'm sure there were a couple of other issues!!

Despite all these problems (all fixed under warranty) I really do like my superb, although I'm not sure i'd buy another it realy is a nice car to drive, spacious, handles ok for a big car, and has enough power 2 see off all the local boy racers in their novas/corsas!!

I think possibly i've just been unlucky as it seems build quality is a bit hit and miss on the superb, some of my collegues have had no problems at all, and some like me have a never ending stream!! I guess mine was a friday afternoon car and the robots were eager to get down the local for a pint or two!!!

Hope I haven't depressed eveyone too much in my opening post, and just to re-iterate I really do like my superb!!

Can't say I've had too many problems with my Fabia but what I'm more bothered about is the dealerships. My previous car was a clio and the local dealer was crap. My local skoda dealer onthe other hand is spot on, even my girlfriend has commented on how good they are. Maybe once you get use to the site you can do a review about your dealer in the review section.
