candy white

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,iv just ordered a candywhite vrs estate, and whilst at the dealer today, there was a candy white superb behind a candy white yeti adventure,i commented to the sales guy that they are different colours,as the superb was a more creamy white than the yeti that was more of a washing machine white, after saying that it was showroom lights were causing it,they checked the paint codes and found that they were different,so is it pot luck which shade you get or isit to do with where it was built,im hoping my estate would be the creamier white as that is what i looked at before deciding on white, has anyone else come accross this,

Had a quick look on etka.

Same colour code for Yeti, Octavia and Superb.

Flicking through the pages reveals no other white colour. Even the touch up pens are the same colour code.

But, as we know, paint will always be a VERY SLIGHTLY different shade every time its made up, for me the Candy White is a lovely colours, really makes the Octavia look good and enhance the lines of the car, and snap I have ordered a candy white vRS estate as well, so join the club :-)

me three - candy white vRS estate.

Cortina63 - can you remember the other codes? I can enter them on etka and see what comes up.

sorted  the paint code mystery, the yeti he compared it had a black roof as std,so the code was different,so it must be down to shading, iv left my order as white, but added sunset glass today

Candy White for me to! Should arrive in about 3 weeks!

Another for Candy white, apparently arrives at the dealers tomorrow

Ok, we may have all gone for Candy White, but I had three reasons, 1) You save £500 2) That £500 you save you can spend on toys for the car 3) They look bloody good!!!

look even better with a panoramic sunroof, which is what our £500 saving went towards.

Candy white here too. Just love the colour, and everyone that have seen the car say the same: what a stylish car!

Agreed on saving the £500 and with the black pack should look pretty awesome. Just a shame that the 'Black' Gemini wheels are not yet available. Black magic would have been just as good i reckon but our Monte is all black and didn't want two cars the same colour.

The only other colour I would have had considered was Race Blue, but as this is no longer exclusive to the vrs I just didn't see the point.

I thought the "black" (I'm assuming you mean the two tone anthracite ones) are available?

In fact there was a vRS arriving on a transporter the last time I left the dealers and it had them fitted.

Oh and plus one for the candy!

No, Skoda UK showed on their Facebook page five options for the VRS alloy wheels;

The Gemini in both Anthracite and Silver

The Pictoris (sp)

The 19" Extreme

And then the wheels I would like, the Gemini Black :(

I too would love the black Gemini wheels. I've got a week 42 build. Asked the dealer about them and he hadn't a clue. Oh well. I've gone with anthracite Gemini which do look good now I have seen a few around.
