anyone ever changed their camshaft alignment sensor? the one near the cam sprocket at the top of the engine.

 

i've got this to tackle but is it an hour job or a couple of hours? does it require taking the timing belt off?

For anyone else, now done it. Piece of **** to do. Cam cover off,

one bolt below the sprocket 10mm socket,

Unplug near oil filter housing

Feed wire and plug through cam backing cover

Reverse process to fit new
