I have been a member on here since 2009, when I had purchased the Mrs a Metallic black 3 year old (06 plate at the time) Octavia vRS Petrol Manual (Anyone know where it is now?  BD06 MJ*).  It was fantastic and had just about every option on it and she loved it, well to be fair we both did.  Unfortunately six months later after a bit of a life audit we decided to sell as it's value and what we owed in debt was about the same, and we've missed it ever since.

 

Anyway to cut a long story short, having had a string of VW Passats I had to scratch the itch again so I have just ordered a mk3 Octavia vRS TDi DSG Estate in Candy White, with a few options.

 

To say I'm excited is an understatment.  Been told it's three months at least to wait but secretly hoping for a 14 plate!!  This is my first ever brand new car.

 

And before people ask I used to have an X plate Golf GTI Turbo and was fairly active on uk-mkivs.  That was back in the day when X reg was new!!

 

Anyway hope to get plenty of hints and tips on what to do with her this time around (the vRS not the Mrs)
